- After installing Clearspace, open a new tab to access your planner.
- Pin Clearspace using Chrome’s Extensions menu for quick toolbar access.
- Capture a thought, assign a priority, and choose up to two daily highlights.
- Give a task a time block or start a focus session.
AI features
Thought organization and CV comparison use the Clearspace service at decentgatewaysllc.com. You do not enter a provider API key. If the service is unavailable, your inputs remain available for editing or manual saving.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Clearspace without an API key?
Yes. Capture, priorities, time blocks, focus tracking, and daily reset work without AI. Thought organization and CV comparison require the Clearspace service.
Why is voice capture not working?
Choose the main recognition language, click Start listening, and allow microphone access. Check Chrome’s microphone permissions and your internet connection. Recognition can misunderstand mixed Urdu and English; edit the transcript before saving.
How do I compare my CV with a job?
Open a job listing, click Clearspace’s toolbar icon, and choose CV & job match. Paste your CV or upload a .txt file. Read the current job page or paste its description, review both inputs, then click Run job match. Use Open detailed page for a roomier view.
Can I upload a PDF or Word CV?
This release supports plain-text .txt uploads and pasted text. Copy text from your PDF or Word document into the CV field.
Why can’t Clearspace read a job page?
Chrome restricts access to some pages. Embedded job descriptions may also be unavailable. Copy and paste the relevant text instead. Read current job page works from the installed extension popup.
Is the match score an actual ATS score?
No. It estimates how the evidence in your CV matches the job requirements. AI judgments may be wrong. It does not predict hiring or reproduce an employer’s screening system.
Why did my AI request fail?
Check your internet connection and try again later. The service manages its AI connection. Keep the popup open during analysis or use the detailed page. Do not send your key when reporting an error.
Why is a distracting website still open?
Blocking applies to new page loads on selected domains during active focus sessions. Existing tabs keep working until navigation or reload. Blocking stops on pause, break, reset, or completion.
How do I back up or remove my data?
Export a JSON planner backup from Insights. Saved CVs and voice drafts are separate from planner exports. Remove a CV using Remove saved CV; edit or clear drafts and tasks in their respective views. Uninstalling removes extension storage but does not remove exported files or data previously sent to providers.
